Two brothers from Winsford went to court. Lewis and Declen Dixon appeared in court on Tuesday, February 25, in Chester. Both brothers are headed to young offenders’ institutions.

Lewis is seventeen years old and received a four-year sentence. Declen, who is twenty years old, received a twelve-month sentence.

They attacked two construction workers on Delamere Street on November 11, 2024. The workers were standing outside a sandwich shop.

DC Sarah Ollier of Northwich CID spoke after the sentences. She stated two men suffered serious injuries in the attack. It occurred in public during the day on a busy street.

DS James Elliott, also with Northwich CID, commented that knives are rare in Winsford. He welcomes the sentences for the men.

Brett Williamson prosecuted the case, stating the victims shook their heads in disapproval of a BMW’s driving. The brothers rode as passengers in that BMW. Lewis stabbed one man in the back and the other man in the buttocks during their fight.
