Club seeks permit for new clubhouse, enabling live music, sports and alcohol sales.

The club rents from the National Trust and possesses a 60-year lease. They seek the licence before commencing renovations on their clubhouse. The club wants to tear down their current clubhouse, and the application went to Fenland District Council.
The clubhouse helps with sports at Harecroft Road. The club started their project in 2018 and built a new pitch for £400,000 last year. The old clubhouse will be demolished soon.
The old clubhouse has a licence right now, so, the club wants a temporary licence. This covers them as they build the new one. Once finished, the new one needs a full licence too.
They want the licence for different events, these include live music and dancing. They also want permission for films and sports. Bank Holidays need covering, as well.
The club wants to serve alcohol from Monday to Thursday, and Sundays, 9am to 12.30am. Friday and Saturday hours are 9am to 1.30am.
The application explains their request to show international sports. Think Olympics, World Cups, and the Ashes. Events may happen overnight sometimes, and the club wants members to watch together. This overnight time only applies inside.
