Mayor Imafidon updates the council on community engagement, including the Wisbech fair, Fenland Gymnastics, and more.

He gives updates at town council meetings. He thanked Fenland Council for securing the Wisbech fair. The fair has run for about 818 years. Finding a place proved difficult this year.
He went to Lynn Mart’s opening. Now, he awaits Wisbech’s fair. Imafidon attended Fenland Gymnastic Club’s show. This happened early in February. He learned about the club then.
The club has around 300 registered kids. Over 100 people are on a waiting list. He was impressed by their performances. The club needs a new location.
They are losing their current site to an incinerator. They need a space for members and parents. Imafidon toured Whitemoor Prison last month. He found it a strange experience.
He celebrated Mary’s 104th birthday at Orchard Care Home. He felt honored meeting Mary and hearing her stories. Imafidon visited Upwell Methodist Church’s coffee morning.
He met Johnathon Jarvis there. Johnathon is seven years old. He is raising money for the RNLI. The mayor enjoyed meeting him and his parents.
