New shop in Darwen aids domestic abuse survivors. Grand opening on February 14th.

The shop moved to Bridge Street in Darwen and opened there in late January. A grand opening is scheduled for February 14. The mayor of Blackburn with Darwen will cut the ribbon, and Councillor Brian Taylor will also attend the opening.
The manager, Lyndsey Riley, is excited about the new shop, and she said you can find great deals there. They offer both new and used items, and all purchases help The Wish Centre’s work. The center aids domestic abuse survivors, offering safe places.
The shop sells a wide variety of used items. These include clothes, books, and homeware, and you can find many other interesting things there too.
The charity is seeking donations, which can be dropped off during opening hours. Free parking is available nearby on Foundry Street, or at Sainsbury’s. Additionally, Darwen Market provides parking options.
Crown Paints donated paint, which helped to brighten the shop. Pierce Accountants donated items, and Tesco Blackburn also contributed. The Women In Business Network also made a donation.
The shop hours are as follows: Monday from 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM, Tuesday is closed, Wednesday through Friday from 9:15 AM to 4:00 PM, and Saturday from 9:00 AM to 1:00 PM.
