Okay, so something happened yesterday in Witney. It was on Wenman Road. Seems pretty serious.

A man in his twenties was involved, and he had two big knives. He went towards a teenage boy. People think they knew each other before this. Then, the man dropped the knives and picked up a baseball bat instead. Crazy, right?

The boy then tackled the man to the ground. A fight broke out between them, during which the man hit the boy’s head with the bat. Other people jumped in to stop the fight. After that, the man ran away from the scene, and police looked for him using a helicopter.

The boy got a bad head injury, but he didn’t want to go to the hospital. Three others had small injuries. They also didn’t need a hospital.

A detective said it was a targeted attack, and he thinks the guys knew each other. He also said the public isn’t really in danger. Contact police if you worry. Police won’t stand for stuff like this. They are still looking for the attacker, and they want to bring him to justice soon.

They need help from anyone who saw it. If you know something, speak up. Don’t share photos online; give them to the police. Call 101 or visit their site and file a report. Use reference number 1136. You can also call Crimestoppers. Their number is 0800 555 111.
