The Leys splash park is getting a makeover with new features, water saving jets, and a vibrant rainbow floor.

They’re adding new spray jets, which will decrease water usage. New, fun things to play on will also be added, and these items will sit above the ground.
The splash pad floor gets a rainbow theme. A new plant room is part of the project too, and new wastewater pipes allow water reuse, which helps the environment.
A plan makes sure it always works well. Locals chose these updates at the carnival, and you can vote on the rainbow floor design online.
Ruth Smith leads the council and said they saved money yearly for this. The project is on schedule, and the Leys area has many changes underway.
The update should reduce mud issues, and kids will have more fun playing there. The revamped splash park fits well with the sports park, as it is right next to it.
The town wants a safe, fun area. The council shared this play experience goal, and they hope the splash park will be high quality.
