All people can attend, no matter their experience. Modern board games will be ready to play, and demonstrators will teach everyone the rules.
Adults and kids over 10 can have fun as some games fit even younger kids. Try Dungeons & Dragons taster sessions, or Blood on the Clocktower, a social game for new players.
Tickets go on sale February 3 at 9:00 am. Each half-day session costs £4 per person. Group tickets have discounted prices; an early bird offer ends February 14 when tickets cost £3 per person.
Speaking about the event, Barrie Callender, the chair of arts and culture, said board games offer more than just Monopoly. Many fun games exist for adults and kids, and Eclectic Games knows all the games. You should come and try some. Some games want you to be strategic, and other games provide easy fun.
