Golfers at The Woll are hosting a Golf Day on April 25 to support Cancer Research UK with fundraising efforts.

The Selkirk Committee held a lunch for ten years, and The Woll Restaurant hosted those Ladies Lunches. Nick Brown owns The Woll Golf Course and is happy to partner with them now too. He said the Ladies Lunch is important and thought a Golf Day was another good idea that could also raise funds.
The club members choose a charity annually. He hopes the April event raises lots of money, as they want this to be their biggest fundraiser.
They invite teams of four to join the event. Local businesses can sponsor a hole. They can also give prizes for the raffle and auction.
Margery Inglis chairs the Selkirk Committee. She says the day will help research that saves lives and strengthens ties with The Woll.
Margery says responses from companies look good. She thanks Nick and his team for support.
