A woman in Poole, UK, was arrested after grabbing a baby from a pram inside a stranger’s house. The child was unharmed.

A family member spotted the woman inside and asked Mary who she was. Mary realized she had never seen the woman before, so she ran inside to stop her. The woman almost took her child.
Mary said she didn’t know the woman, but the woman knew Mary’s name and told Mary’s daughter she was a babysitter. Mary felt like she was in a horror movie. Mary called the police while the woman was still inside, reporting the intruder was acting aggressively.
Police said they got a report on February 7 at 2:46 PM about a home intrusion on Waxwing Drive. The police said the child was not taken and had no injuries during this event.
Officers came to the house and arrested a woman in her 30s in connection with the incident. The woman was released on bail and went to a mental health facility for medical care. Mary said her family is shaken by this and told others to check their home security.
Mary said the event shocked her. Her daughter keeps checking the doors and on the baby often. They are not sleeping well now. Mary wants other mothers to know and to lock their doors.
People should be aware of who watches them. The woman knew Mary’s name and must have watched her for a while. Police are still looking into this incident, and their investigation is ongoing now.
