A woman was hospitalised after a hit and run in Kinson Road. A suspect is now in custody.

The injured person is a woman in her sixties. She was taken to the hospital due to injuries that initially seemed serious, but fortunately weren’t life-threatening. The police have notified her family.
The car, likely a grey Renault Captur, sped away from the scene. Police quickly investigated and located a similar car in West Howe.
A woman in her thirties was arrested on suspicion of driving offenses. The police closed the roads to assist emergency teams and investigate the scene.
Sergeant Gareth Thomas is appealing for public assistance, urging witnesses to come forward with any information about the incident. He is particularly interested in obtaining any dashcam footage that may have captured the event.
Thomas expressed gratitude to the public for their patience during the road closures.
