Dominic Whitton, age 40, who lives on Reynardson Road, faces charges related to preventing a lawful burial. The charges connect to the ongoing investigation.

Detective Inspector Barry Hart of the Metropolitan Police spoke about the case, saying they are investigating Pepita’s death. Police want information from anyone who knew her. Detectives want to learn more about Pepita’s life, and building that picture involves public help.

Police seek anyone with information about what happened. They also need footage from phones or dashcams from Reynardson Road between October 16, 2024, to January 31. Please contact the police if you have it.

Specifically, police want to find a taxi driver who took Pepita to Reynardson Road in August 2024. He saw her struggling with building materials she had just bought. The driver seemed worried about her well-being and may have recorded Pepita using his phone. Police hope to speak with this driver.
