Riaz believes Platform must answer to its residents. The council meeting is an opportunity for that. The Worcester News shared similar stories before, reporting issues such as broken lifts and leaks. Rats forced one couple to leave their home. Platform apologized and said they helped those affected.
Riaz heard other issues at Platform homes. Residents told him about broken windows and fences and reported these problems, but they weren’t fixed quickly.
Riaz wants things to improve for residents. He worries that inaction prevents future reports, as people might think reporting problems will not help.
