Road closures across Worcester in February for essential works. Expect delays and plan alternate routes.
Bevere Lane shuts down February 21, a Friday, for just one day. MJ Quinn will replace poles. Use Bevere Green and other roads as detours. Lansdowne Crescent Lane closes February 24, a Monday, for eleven days. They’re rebuilding the footpath there.
Residents still get access. Church Lane in Whittington closes too, starting February 24. Severn Trent fixes a boundary box, and this lasts three days total.
Hastings Drive closes February 24 again, also a Monday, for five days this time. They are building a new footpath. Use other streets for alternate routes. Angel Street closes February 23, a Sunday. Severn Trent fixes water issues for a day.
Detour using Foregate Street and other roads. A disabled parking spot is now on Happy Land North, in Worcester, starting on February 6, a Thursday. Waiting rules change on Canada Way too. These rule changes also started February 6. They are trying it out for a while.
Canada Way’s south side now has no parking restrictions. This covers 39 metres from the Labrador Road junction. The north side has restrictions removed for 32 metres. This test lasts 18 months maximum.
They will then decide if it becomes permanent. Keep this in mind when you drive there. Please prepare for these road changes coming up. Plan your trips so you avoid problems. Changes could cause some delays.
