Worcester Road Closures: February and March Traffic Disruptions
Reservoir Lane stays closed. A county council person said scaffolding is coming to help stabilize the wall soon. Old Road is also still closed due to an unsafe bridge and will remain closed until July 29.
Reservoir Lane should reopen on June 20, having initially closed after a private wall fell on February 9, 2024. Nunnery Lane to A4538 Pershore Lane also remains shut. Worcestershire County Council is completing road work until April 11.
Hastings Drive closes February 24-28 while a new footway is built. Moor Street closes March 4-5 for Severn Trent to carry out works. Cleeve Drive closes March 4-7 as a vehicle crossing is installed.
St Georges Lane South will be closed on March 3 due to digging. Portland Street closes March 3-7 for kerbing and footway jobs. Claphill Lane closes March 3-4 for repairs.
Angel Street closes February 23 as Severn Trent conducts road work there. Sansome Street closes March 2 for overhead work at The Hopmarket. Pump Street closes March 2 for Severn Trent Water work.
