Platform Housing manages homes there. They said the problems started when a builder failed and the company went out of business. But, folks say they have complained for four years.
The road is uneven and poorly kept. Cars hit drain covers, footpaths are blocked with cones, and street lights do not even work. All these issues frustrate homeowners.
Victoria Atkinson spent a lot on her car, as raised drains damaged her Audi TT. Her dad helped someone after a crash where a new Jaguar hit a drain and the airbags went off.
One mom has a big hole near her garden. Weak barriers and sandbags try to keep it safe, as her two kids are five and eleven years old, and she fears for their safety.

A delivery driver damaged his car there. Residents said the bottom of his car broke and oil spilled onto the road surface, due to the raised drain.

A man living there contacted Platform Housing. He says it is their development, and he thinks they must take care of it, adding he has never seen a road like this in Worcester. He added stopcocks became unreachable, cars drive over a metal plate, and loud banging noises annoy neighbors. The plate covers the stopcocks there.
An oak tree is dying on the street. It is protected by a tree order, but residents learned they would not replace it, and they feel ignored and forgotten now.
They want to know what is going on and residents would like the road and path fixed soon. The Platform Housing group responded to the issues saying their first builder had problems and that company went out of business. They are working to fix unfinished work and appreciate everyone’s patience now.
