Bird flu is spreading. Over fifty swans died in Worcester. Poultry keepers must enrich their pets’ lives. New housing rules start Sunday, February 16 in Worcestershire.

The RSPCA wants owners to follow biosecurity advice closely. The advice can change daily, and England and Wales owners must stay updated.

Kate Parkes is an RSPCA poultry expert. She said the UK is in a bird flu outbreak, and the government is taking preventive measures. Some areas face housing orders as Great Britain has enhanced biosecurity.

Hens are popular pets, so owners must follow biosecurity advice. Watch for illness and seek vet help if needed. You must report suspected outbreaks to APHA.

All poultry owners in England and Wales must register birds with APHA within a month. They will contact you about outbreaks nearby.

The RSPCA wants pets to stay entertained. Use straw bales for fun, hang corn on the cob for treats, and use tires filled with sand.

The Swan Food Project thinks the worst is over as they lost over fifty swans. The remaining birds may have immunity now, and swans are eating mixed corn again.
