A 19-year-old from Wrexham admitted breaking a football banning order by not handing over travel documents before Wales games.

He admitted to breaking a football banning order by not handing over travel papers. This happened twice in 2024. The prosecutor, Shane Maddocks, spoke. The dates were before Wales’ games against Iceland and Turkey in October and November.
The banning order started in 2022 and lasts for three years. It was for invading a football pitch. Melissa Griffiths defended Bagnall. She said he’s been good since then. The first offense led to the ban.
She said he stopped following football and doesn’t watch it on TV anymore. Getting the order put him off it. He got a passport last August, his first ever. It created a new problem.
Sadly, he lost his passport in September and didn’t tell the passport people. He needed to give the passport to the police for the October and November games, but couldn’t because he didn’t have it.
Bagnall got a £70 fine for each offense. He also must pay £85 in costs, and a £56 victim surcharge.
