Another photo shows a busy 1989 Beast Market. Ian Evans said it drew crowds every Monday. Gail Hughes loved the stalls. Jackie Williams worked and shopped there.
Lynne Seller connects fried onions to it. Susie Wynne enjoyed cake at Stephens Cafe. Marg Morris bought linen from Mr. Cooper.
A 1961 photo shows the Corner House. It was a gas station and cafe. Tracey Reeves loved visiting it with family. Jacky Wilcock walked there for ice cream. Hilary Brown went there with her dad for Vimto.
