A warehouse in Wrexham is set to become a ‘magical’ play centre with learning opportunities for young children and families.

The building, formerly Lloyd Morris Electrical shop, will become a play barn and café called “the magical far away tree learning centre.” The plan aims to create a fun place where babies and young kids can learn through play, with parents joining them in the warehouse turned play space.
The design includes tree platforms and nets connected to create an adventurous space. Fairy lights will decorate silver birch poles, creating a magical woodland feel. There will also be a water play area, designed to help kids learn and solve problems.
Areas will be designed for different ages, ensuring babies, toddlers, and preschoolers can all have fun. A messy area will feature tools, allowing kids to use wheelbarrows and various materials. Plants and green leaves will be incorporated throughout, creating an outdoor playing experience.
The new plan includes 32 parking spaces for visitors. Staff may have additional spaces in the back. A café will also be part of this new facility, expanding its offerings.
The project is expected to benefit the local economy by creating new jobs. Families will have a unique and fun place to play, and the city will see positive impacts from this proven concept.
