Wrexham will celebrate St David’s Day. The city anticipates a large gathering, as the celebration occurs in March.

Menter Iaith Fflint a Wrecsam organizes the event in partnership with the Wrexham Council. It is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st.

The parade creates an exciting atmosphere. It starts at 10:45 am outside the Guildhall and begins sharply at 11:00 am.

Band Cambria will lead the march through Wrexham before returning to Llwyn Isaf. People will sing both the Welsh anthem and Calon Lân, led by Andy Hickie.

Hundreds are expected to attend again, where residents can wave flags, sing, and embrace Welsh culture.

A market will be on Queen’s Square. Tŷ Pawb hosts family crafts in the afternoon, with the craft session supporting the Eisteddfod.

Mayor Beryl Blackmore commented on the parade, calling it one of the year’s best. She noted the Welsh language being spoken, and the cultural engagement. She invites everyone to join on March 1st, encouraging them to wear daffodils and wave flags.
