Experience York Minster’s “Colour and Light” show, filmed from above, daily until March 2nd!

The show happens daily from 6 PM to 9 PM until March 2nd. It’s a ten-minute projection and sound loop, with one hour each day made more accessible. The volume is lower during this hour to accommodate more attendees.
York BID organizes this free event. City center businesses fund York BID, and the group enhances the area.
York BID reports the response has been great, with many locals and visitors attending the show. They believe it will help area businesses by driving more people to the city. They are excited to bring it back and celebrate York’s stories.
This year’s theme celebrates York’s wildlife, including both real and mythical creatures. The show tells stories of York’s animals.
Stories range from falcons to urban foxes. They even feature soldiers’ horses and dragons. The show happened at the art gallery last year. This year, see Colour and Light at York Minster, with the South Transept hosting the show each night until March 2.
