A signal fault near Bridlington closes lines, affecting several routes into York. Delays expected until 10 AM.

Basically, if you’re going from Scarborough to Hull, go via York. Use your train ticket on TransPennine Express. They run between Scarborough and York. You can also use Hull Trains between Beverley. There’s no extra cost for this.
National Rail says Bridlington lost power from the National Grid. This knocked out all the signals at the station. Network Rail workers are trying to fix it now.
They are getting buses to run between Scarborough and Beverley. This will work in both directions. They will share more bus info soon, they said. Using the replacement bus will add around 70 minutes to your trip.
